Are certifications worth it while job hunting? - 5 months and counting

I am considering a short certificate to improve my chances as an HR coordinator. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I am unsure whether employers value it. Which ones are overrated?

Ask the course provider how many graduates get jobs and where. Honest providers can tell you.
