8-month résumé gap, advice?, software tester here

I have been out of work for 8 months and worry about the gap. It has been a long 22 weeks. I am nervous about being filtered out.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
