8-month résumé gap, advice?, social media manager here

I took time out to care for a family member after working as a social media manager. Any experience at all would help. I am not sure how much to explain.

A short, honest line such as 'family caregiving' is enough for most employers. They mostly want to know you are ready now.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 8 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
