4-month résumé gap, advice?, customer-service rep here

My résumé shows a gap from a layoff and some health issues. Any experience at all would help. I am not sure how much to explain. How did you handle it on your résumé?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

Keep your skills fresh and mention anything recent. It shows momentum.
