3-month résumé gap, advice? - what worked for you?

I took time out to care for a family member after working as a graphic designer. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I am nervous about being filtered out.

A short, honest line such as 'family caregiving' is enough for most employers. They mostly want to know you are ready now.

Keep your skills fresh and mention anything recent. It shows momentum.
