3-month résumé gap, advice? - what worked for you?

My résumé shows a gap from a layoff and some health issues. I worked as a home health aide before this. I am nervous about being filtered out. How did you handle it on your résumé?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
