2-month résumé gap, advice? - what worked for you?

I took time out to care for a family member after working as a social media manager. I am in Toledo, in case local advice matters. I have done some volunteering and a course during that time. What do you say in interviews?

A short, honest line such as 'family caregiving' is enough for most employers. They mostly want to know you are ready now.
