14-month résumé gap, advice? after 16 years as a customer-service rep

I have been out of work for 14 months and worry about the gap. I am nervous about being filtered out. How did you handle it on your résumé?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
