12-month résumé gap, advice? - any advice?

I have been out of work for 12 months and worry about the gap. I am nervous about being filtered out. Did anyone get past it?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 12 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
