10-month résumé gap, advice?, hotel front-desk agent here

I have been out of work for 10 months and worry about the gap. I am in Detroit, in case local advice matters. I am not sure how much to explain. Did anyone get past it?

A short, honest line such as 'family caregiving' is enough for most employers. They mostly want to know you are ready now.
