10-month résumé gap, advice?

I took time out to care for a family member after working as a forklift operator. I am nervous about being filtered out. Did anyone get past it?

A short, honest line such as 'family caregiving' is enough for most employers. They mostly want to know you are ready now.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
