Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be? - what worked for you?

I am keeping a spreadsheet of applications, but I worry it is not what the agency expects. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. My state says to keep records for a year. Has anyone been audited?

Screenshots of the submitted application are handy backup when a posting disappears.

Check the handbook on your state's claim site. It lists what counts in my state, and workshops were on the list.
