Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be? - what worked for you?

I have been applying to about 10 jobs a week as a warehouse supervisor, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. It has been a long 3 weeks. Some days I only network by email or attend a job fair. What do you record?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Screenshots of the submitted application are handy backup when a posting disappears.
