Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be? - what worked for you?

I have been applying to about 3 jobs a week as a sales associate, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. I do not usually post, so bear with me. Some days I only network by email or attend a job fair. Has anyone been audited?

Screenshots of the submitted application are handy backup when a posting disappears.
