Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be? - what worked for you?

I have been applying to about 4 jobs a week as an HR coordinator, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I also did a résumé workshop at the library.

Check the handbook on your state's claim site. It lists what counts in my state, and workshops were on the list.

I was asked for my log once, after six months. Having it in a spreadsheet made it painless.
