Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be? (update)

I am keeping a spreadsheet of applications, but I worry it is not what the agency expects. I am in Cincinnati, in case local advice matters. Some days I only network by email or attend a job fair. Do interviews and workshops count?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
