Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be? (update)

I have been applying to about 14 jobs a week as a procurement assistant, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. My state says to keep records for a year.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
