Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be? (update)

I have been applying to about 5 jobs a week as a paralegal, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. I worked as a paralegal before this. Some days I only network by email or attend a job fair. What do you record?

Check the handbook on your state's claim site. It lists what counts in my state, and workshops were on the list.

I was asked for my log once, after six months. Having it in a spreadsheet made it painless.
