Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be? (update)

I have been applying to about 14 jobs a week as an IT help-desk technician, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. There are 14 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. My state says to keep records for a year. Do interviews and workshops count?

Check the handbook on your state's claim site. It lists what counts in my state, and workshops were on the list.

I record the date, the company, the job title, how I applied and any contact name. It takes a minute each and it covered me when I was asked for proof.
