Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be? (St. Louis)

I am keeping a spreadsheet of applications, but I worry it is not what the agency expects. I have been trying to stay organised about it. Some days I only network by email or attend a job fair. Do interviews and workshops count?

I record the date, the company, the job title, how I applied and any contact name. It takes a minute each and it covered me when I was asked for proof.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
