Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be?, social media manager here

I have been applying to about 3 jobs a week as a social media manager, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. I also did a résumé workshop at the library. What do you record?

I was asked for my log once, after six months. Having it in a spreadsheet made it painless.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
