Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be?, security officer here

The certification asks how many work-search activities I did and I do not know what qualifies. My state says to keep records for a year. What do you record?

I was asked for my log once, after six months. Having it in a spreadsheet made it painless.

Screenshots of the submitted application are handy backup when a posting disappears.
