Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be?, security officer here

I have been applying to about 18 jobs a week as a security officer, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. I am in Oklahoma City, in case local advice matters. Some days I only network by email or attend a job fair. Do interviews and workshops count?
