Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be? (Raleigh)

The certification asks how many work-search activities I did and I do not know what qualifies. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. Some days I only network by email or attend a job fair. Has anyone been audited?

Screenshots of the submitted application are handy backup when a posting disappears.

I record the date, the company, the job title, how I applied and any contact name. It takes a minute each and it covered me when I was asked for proof.
