Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be? (Omaha)

I have been applying to about 7 jobs a week as a recruiter, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. Any experience at all would help. My state says to keep records for a year. What do you record?

I was asked for my log once, after six months. Having it in a spreadsheet made it painless.

Check the handbook on your state's claim site. It lists what counts in my state, and workshops were on the list.
