Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be?, nurse's aide here

I have been applying to about 14 jobs a week as a nurse's aide, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. My state says to keep records for a year. Do interviews and workshops count?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 2 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
