Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be?, graphic designer here

The certification asks how many work-search activities I did and I do not know what qualifies. I have been trying to stay organised about it. My state says to keep records for a year. Do interviews and workshops count?

I was asked for my log once, after six months. Having it in a spreadsheet made it painless.
