Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be? - first time posting

I have been applying to about 10 jobs a week as a copywriter, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. I worked as a copywriter before this. My state says to keep records for a year. Do interviews and workshops count?

I was asked for my log once, after six months. Having it in a spreadsheet made it painless.
