Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be? - first time posting

I have been applying to about 12 jobs a week as an office manager, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. There are 12 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. My state says to keep records for a year. Do interviews and workshops count?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
