Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be? - first time posting

I am keeping a spreadsheet of applications, but I worry it is not what the agency expects. This is my first time dealing with any of this. My state says to keep records for a year. Has anyone been audited?

I record the date, the company, the job title, how I applied and any contact name. It takes a minute each and it covered me when I was asked for proof.
