Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be? - first time posting

I have been applying to about 8 jobs a week as an event coordinator, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. There are 8 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I also did a résumé workshop at the library.

I record the date, the company, the job title, how I applied and any contact name. It takes a minute each and it covered me when I was asked for proof.
