Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be? - first time posting

I have been applying to about 18 jobs a week as a bank teller, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. Thank you in advance. I also did a résumé workshop at the library. What do you record?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
