Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be? - first time posting

I have been applying to about 17 jobs a week as a forklift operator, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. There are 17 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I also did a résumé workshop at the library. Do interviews and workshops count?

I was asked for my log once, after six months. Having it in a spreadsheet made it painless.
