Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be? - first time posting

I have been applying to about 6 jobs a week as an administrative assistant, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. My state says to keep records for a year. Do interviews and workshops count?

I record the date, the company, the job title, how I applied and any contact name. It takes a minute each and it covered me when I was asked for proof.

Screenshots of the submitted application are handy backup when a posting disappears.
