Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be? - first time posting

I am keeping a spreadsheet of applications, but I worry it is not what the agency expects. It has been weighing on me all week. My state says to keep records for a year. Do interviews and workshops count?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
