Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be? - first time posting

I have been applying to about 10 jobs a week as a paralegal, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. I have been trying to stay organised about it. Some days I only network by email or attend a job fair.

I was asked for my log once, after six months. Having it in a spreadsheet made it painless.

I record the date, the company, the job title, how I applied and any contact name. It takes a minute each and it covered me when I was asked for proof.
