Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be? (Austin)

I have been applying to about 17 jobs a week as a pharmacy technician, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. My state says to keep records for a year. What do you record?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 11 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
