Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be? - any advice?

I have been applying to about 4 jobs a week as a data-entry clerk, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. I am in Madison, in case local advice matters. My state says to keep records for a year. Has anyone been audited?

Check the handbook on your state's claim site. It lists what counts in my state, and workshops were on the list.
