Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be? - any advice?

The certification asks how many work-search activities I did and I do not know what qualifies. There are 15 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I also did a résumé workshop at the library. What do you record?

I record the date, the company, the job title, how I applied and any contact name. It takes a minute each and it covered me when I was asked for proof.
