Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be? - any advice?

I have been applying to about 15 jobs a week as an administrative assistant, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. This is my first time dealing with any of this. My state says to keep records for a year. Do interviews and workshops count?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
