Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be? - any advice?

The certification asks how many work-search activities I did and I do not know what qualifies. It has been weighing on me all week. My state says to keep records for a year. Has anyone been audited?

Check the handbook on your state's claim site. It lists what counts in my state, and workshops were on the list.

I was asked for my log once, after six months. Having it in a spreadsheet made it painless.
