Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be? - any advice?

I am keeping a spreadsheet of applications, but I worry it is not what the agency expects. I am in Providence, in case local advice matters. I also did a résumé workshop at the library. Do interviews and workshops count?

Check the handbook on your state's claim site. It lists what counts in my state, and workshops were on the list.
