Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be? after 9 years as a pharmacy technician

I am keeping a spreadsheet of applications, but I worry it is not what the agency expects. I also did a résumé workshop at the library.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.

I was asked for my log once, after six months. Having it in a spreadsheet made it painless.
