Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be? after 18 years as a dental hygienist

I am keeping a spreadsheet of applications, but I worry it is not what the agency expects. I worked as a dental hygienist before this. Some days I only network by email or attend a job fair. Has anyone been audited?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
