Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be? after 15 years as a pharmacy technician

The certification asks how many work-search activities I did and I do not know what qualifies. I do not usually post, so bear with me. Some days I only network by email or attend a job fair. What do you record?

I record the date, the company, the job title, how I applied and any contact name. It takes a minute each and it covered me when I was asked for proof.

I was asked for my log once, after six months. Having it in a spreadsheet made it painless.
