Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be? - 8 weeks in

I am keeping a spreadsheet of applications, but I worry it is not what the agency expects. I am in Nashville, in case local advice matters. Some days I only network by email or attend a job fair.

I record the date, the company, the job title, how I applied and any contact name. It takes a minute each and it covered me when I was asked for proof.

Screenshots of the submitted application are handy backup when a posting disappears.
