Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be? - 6 months and counting

The certification asks how many work-search activities I did and I do not know what qualifies. I do not usually post, so bear with me. My state says to keep records for a year. Do interviews and workshops count?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 6 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
