Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be? - 5 weeks in

I am keeping a spreadsheet of applications, but I worry it is not what the agency expects. It has been a long 5 weeks. My state says to keep records for a year.

Screenshots of the submitted application are handy backup when a posting disappears.

I was asked for my log once, after six months. Having it in a spreadsheet made it painless.
