Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be? - 4 weeks in

I have been applying to about 8 jobs a week as a pharmacy technician, but I am unsure what my state wants in the log. There are 8 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I also did a résumé workshop at the library. Has anyone been audited?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.

I was asked for my log once, after six months. Having it in a spreadsheet made it painless.
