Work-search log: how detailed does it need to be? - 4 months and counting

The certification asks how many work-search activities I did and I do not know what qualifies. I am in Nashville, in case local advice matters. Some days I only network by email or attend a job fair. What do you record?

I record the date, the company, the job title, how I applied and any contact name. It takes a minute each and it covered me when I was asked for proof.
